Hockey Coach Suspended for Allowing Players to Study for Finals

Brian Cranford, coach of the Mount Pearl Junior Blades has been suspended for one year and fined $2,000.  The reason for his suspension?  Allowing his players to study for finals rather than attending an opening ceremony for a tournament.  Cranford appealed the suspension and lost.

Squidney Crosby

In our first of many "miscellaneous" posts, we present to you "Squidney Crosby"

This is a part of ZOOperstars.  These characters are based off of athletes and celebrities' names and appear to dance in costumes.  I'm still kind of speechless, but enjoy the video.

Now, I will have Weird Al Yankovic stuck in my head for the rest of the night.

Also a member of ZOOperstars is Mario LeMule (yes there is a capital M). Speechless right now...

This guy's no jackass - it's Mario Lemule! The goofy grinnin' donkey gets really funky when he hits the ice. This guy slips and slides, jumps and jives to the hottest, horse hoovin' hip-hop hits. Mario spends a lot of time in his private stallion stable in a prominent part of the Pittsburgh suburbs. Look out pooper-scoopers...don't step in Mario's manure!

Height: 8 feet 5 inches
Weight: 1,066 pounds
Resides: A Barn in Suburban Pittsburgh
Characteristics: Enormous ears that flap freely. Naughty "snotty" nostrils on the end of his snout. A goofy growl on his grill that makes everyone giggle. Huge hooves for reeking havoc.
